When I was pregnant with my first baby, I hardly did any yoga. Not because I didn’t want to—but because I didn’t know what was safe, and honestly? Prenatal yoga felt wildly inconvenient.

I didn’t trust random YouTube videos, online studios were crazy expensive, and in-person classes? Not only were they just as pricey, but they also required me to actually leave the house. So, I figured I’d just make things up as I went. I wasn’t prenatal yoga certified at the time, but I was yoga certified so what’s the big difference?

Looking back, I wish I had done prenatal yoga that actually supported my body—not just random stretching or what I thought was right. But back then, the slow, gentle prenatal classes didn’t feel productive enough for me. I wanted to do something, not just sit there and breathe. Now? I understand slowing down is the work. It’s the key to preparing your body to actually open when the time comes.

Hey, I’m Nicole! 👋 A certified yoga instructor with a specialization in prenatal yoga—and a mom who learned (the hard way) just how important birth prep really is. After struggling through a four-hour pushing phase with my first baby, I dove deep into learning about prenatal movement, pelvic floor health, and birth preparation. Now, I’m here to help you avoid the mistakes I made and walk into birth feeling strong, confident, and ready.
